UK’s ultimate snow sports and music festival is back for 2009! Taking place in London’s Battersea Power Station from Friday 30th October to Sunday 1st November, FSO4 Freeze combines the World’s best snowboarders and skiers with a music line up to match.
This winter Battersea Power Station will transform into London’s very own ski resort with the London leg of the LG Snowboard FIS World Cup, International Freestyle Ski Comp, alpine themed bars and 2 live music stages including the Main Stage Tent and the all new Relentless Live Stage. LG Snowboard FIS World Cup
The LG Snowboard FIS World Cup returns to London once again. On Saturday the 31st October, FSO4 Freeze will host the LG London Big Air bringing riders from around the world into England's capital. Read more on the comp here.
International Freestyle Ski Big Air
The International Freestyle Ski Big Air was a huge highlight of 2008 bringing a number of X-Games medal holders across the pond for their first UK based competition. PK Hunder and Simon Dumont took 1st and 2nd respectively while over 50 other riders battled it out on the real snow big air jump. See ski riders here.
Battle of Britain
The Battle Of Britain is the perfect chance for the home grown talent to strut their stuff in front of friends and family. For UK riders like Dom Harrington it is an opportunity to show the Internationals the UK snowboarders aint messing about. See snowboard riders here.
Two Live Music Stages
2 live music stages playing to a capacity of thousands is a great end to a day of snow action. 2008 witnessed the return of hip hop legends Cypress Hill to the UK for the first time in 4 years. Stay tuned for an epic line up of over 35 acts for 2009. View the 2008 line up here.
Resort Style Retail Village
A resort style retail village will see the best brands showcasing their latest stock and selling all the new winter gear for the season ahead.
Apres Ski Bars & Caterers
Around the event there will be a number of bars and caterers serving up some good grub and icy cold pints. Look out for the extra special Apres style resort bars and the winter themed chill out zones.
Fun Fair
All new for 2009 will be a fun fair to suit all from thrill seekers to love birds. Your favourite carnival rides will be on hand whether you want an adrenaline rush or a high flying view of the site, the FSO4 Freeze fun fair has something for all.
