I honestly have never watched the CW, or ever seen an episode of 90210 or Gossip Girl.
In fact, I haven’t ever seen a promo or a trailer for them.
I don’t really watch that much TV – about 3 – 4 hours a week.
My best friend is obsessed with all the CW shows, and she’s always talking about Chuck, Blaire & Silver (???)
She bought me the DVD of the first season of Gossip Girl and mailed it to me so I could watch it while I’m at our London vacation house.
I’m looking at it right now – it’s on the coffee table. The guys on the DVD case look pretty hot :]
Should I give it a try?

That’s a pretty hard question you ask Selena: Should you, or not watching TV?
First, you must remember that TV is only an artificial way to get in relation with something, often artificial. Yet it’s also a fabulous tool, a kind a window to the world, and a show, even the worst belongs to the seven Arts, and can be also a mean of learning, understanding and so one.
I think that a show can also help to construct some human community, see for instance the thousand Sites constructed about Gilmore Girls. So many friends generated around the world by this phenomenon.
Of course, a show has also the effect you described around your relational. Is-it good? Is-it bad? I don’t really know. When I read a book I love, I’d like everyone to read it, the same with music, movie, show, and so one. The enthusiasm is a healthy human attitude. That doesn’t mean either that you must react exactly like your friends, in fact you have only to choice your priority, for excess of enthusiasm is not good either.
Yet, what can be important for someone, won’t act in the same way for another. I mean, of the hundred shows or movie that have already gone through TV, only a few were really important to me. Everyone has to make his own choice. But that also can be nuanced: To please to a very dear friend, you can try some, if you don’t like it, not the whole; some episodes only, at least understand what it is about, and what your friend says. Why? Because it’s not only about the show, but the way she perceives it, the way the show affects her life, the way she transpose it in the real life, and so one. All of that helps you to know her better.
The last point, of course, is to remain yourself, and to develop your capacities to the full. That’s really important; they are the elements that help you to construct a good relationship. For, you can only share what you have.
I don’t bother watching stuff like that, either. Just the history chanel and hgtv and Nanny 9-1-1 when I bother.
My friends also tend to indulge in the Gossip Girl and The CW shows but honestly, they like the twilight books… so that shows their taste in lit.
But then again if the guys are really so hot, it couldn’t HURT right?
hhaha yes i mean gossip girl is not exactly an amazingly intellectual thing that is going to make you a million times smarter, but i does
a) make you feel so much better about your completely drama free life and is sooooo entertaining
b) very nice clothes!!
c) has VERY nice boys to look at!!!

The CW is amazing. Supernatural, One Tree Hill, Smallville and Gossip Girl. Although i’m not a fan of Gossip Girl, you should give it a try because I know of tons of people who absolutly love it! It wouldn’t hurt to watch an episode and see what you think! Hope I helped.
I think it is Serena. Haha the only good thing about The CW is Gossip Girl.
Edit: I hear a lot of people in NYC don’t like Gossip Girl. Idk why though because it is a fake show.
CW is a channel that has the shows like 90210 or Gossip Girl.

Nothing great about the CW. It’s just another network/channel, with shows that entice teenagers..
I watch 90210, but it doesn’t make the CW any better than any other channels.. it’s just a show.

It depend on the type of person you are.
