Apparently organisers for London 2012 have said that they will have an opening ceremony in different locations throughout the city, but I wonder if this is going to work in the end.

I think that the best way it would work is if some how they all linked up at the end for the parade of the athletes and the raising of the olympic flag

i think they mean like different ‘acts’ in different places but most of them put in the stadium so more people can get the experience. eg. a band playing in hyde park on a stage and it put on screens in the stadium and a pipe band playing outside edinburgh castle. if you get what i mean.

Try to get the answer from the Chinese olympics organizer 2008, and see what they say.
