I have decided that I’m going to save my money and try to go to some of the London Olympics in 2012…it has always been a dream of mine to see England. But my question is how soon should I buy the flight and hotel (I’m planning on staying for 10 days)? I had been looking on expedia.com where you can buy a flight/hotel combo. Would that be better?

There are lots of ‘cheap’ hotels and B&B’s. I’d recommend sticking to a chain – at least you know what you are getting.
Try http://www.opodo.co.uk for flights (as well as expedia, lastminute, and travelocity).
For hotels, try http://www.milenniumhotels.co.uk (a good quality chain of hotels), or try http://www.benbow.org.uk/Chamberlain.htm for The Chamberlain hotel (Its a decent price for the quality at the weekend, although i’m guessing you will want to stay for a week or more).
Wherever you stay, have a look on ‘tripadvisor’ to get the lowdown of the hotel first!

travelocity and hotels.com most of the time they do the hotels and flights together so you can save money. im sure they wouldnt have anything for a while. but try to get it the soonest it comes avaible.

No, your best bet for hotels is this:http://wwww.hotelscombined.com/?a_aid=80…
It has the widest selection and many more good options than expedia as they’re mainly concerned with flights.
