Soo My friends wants to compete in London 2012 as an 100 m runner. she’s 11 and will be 15 in 2012 is she old enough to compete

    yeah she is, like the boy who just compete on the olympics and he is only 14..so yeah…
    btw i want to compete on the olimpycs too in badminton…

    the only age limitation is in Gymnastics…you must be 16 at least 16 in the year of the games
    as for the rest to get there you must first meet the standards of qualifying.
    she has to be real fast and start practacing as soon as she can and maybe she can get into the london games if not more than likely the 16 games and the 20 games

    It completely depends on the sport. For gymnastics, you must turn 16 the year of the Olympics, but in swimming and diving there were 14 and 15 year olds competing, so check the rules of the sports federation.
