Compared to the young Joni Mitchell, Laura Marling is a hugely talented singer-songwriter. Her debut album Alas I Cannot Swim was nominated for the 2008 Mercury Prizeand this date will coincide with the release of her second record. 

Formerly a member of cult indie outfit Noah and The Whale, Laura's reputation continues to grow following a host of guest appearances with a wide range of other artistes ranging from The Rakes to Jamie T, and a hugely successful appearance on Later with Jools Holland.
