Judging by the petty anti-U.S. lying crybabies on here, not good. But I’m hoping all of GB isn’t as petty and immature as the ones on here.
Well China cheered for Micheal Pehlps and Usain Bolt! 99% of the crowds were chinese but they did cheer for every other athletes as well! Ofcourse the cheer was greater for the Chinese Athletes but when they didnt win, atleast they cheered for the winer!
But if the crowd of Britain dont cheer for the other countries as well then Iam afraid they will give a very bad impression to the rest of the world (like when noone cheered for Nadal when he was destroying Andy Murray in Wimbledon).
So basically you will quite expect huge cheers for team GB.
Why would you think they won’t be treated with the same amount of respect as any other nation?
Michael Phelps was in London for the handing over ceremony, that should have settled any doubts that you had.
We Brits know how to keep politics out of sport. Oh, and the majority are also good mannered.
If it’s anything but applause and respect then Europe will just look like a bunch of Jack*sses. ALL nations should be applauded.
Keep politics and prejudice out of the Olympics! That’s why Madrid should not get the 2016 bid. Racism is not where we want to be in 2016!
Cheer just like they do for everyone else?
I don’t think everyone hates americans, we just think ones like george bush are complete ad utter arseholes. Booing would just be immature. It’s not what the Olympics is about
good, same as every nation who competes, we are not partisan you know. The biggest roar will go to Team GB but that is to be expected.
CHINA already CHAMPION BEIJING 2008
Why would the US ATHLETES get treated differently than any others?
hopefully cheers like every other country
it wont be any different than other countries..what makes you think US are so special?
