@cbarragan9 Under the current COP Nancy would have won by a LARGE margin to the other skaters if you judge their routines by the same COP. Whats weird is we came up with 1st Nancy, 2nd Sato, 3rd Bayul when we tallied everything up.
She was all style and grace… not only as a skater
but the way she handled that whole Harding affair.
She did amazing here.
its so wierd watching routines from the 6.0 judging system after watching the new ISU. its all crossovers and hardly any footwork and connective moves. the requirements are really much tougher. its wierd to see how much harder skaters now have to work to win a gold. but i still think nancy’s amazing don’t get me wrong

@smurfiennes Yeah she thought it was corny and stupid she had to wear the silver medal during the parade and the news cameras caught that and said she was talking about being there at the disney parade. Once again…media taking words out of context.
@irshgrl500 She said that because someone mistakenly told her the 20 minute delay was because Oskana was putting on make-up. If I heard that, I’d say the same thing. Media likes to put people in negative spotlights, that’s media. I think people are wrong to say shit like that about Nancy. It’s the media’s fault.

I remember that! That is when my family really stopped liking her at all. She acted like a complete brat about having not gotten the gold!! I think she was expecting to get gold from sympathy votes for her having gotten attacked a few months before and she didn’t.

I was talking about Nancy’s behavior, not her performance, during the skating. When the medals were given, for figure skating, there was a delay, & Nancy was caught on tape saying “Oh, come on. So she’s going to get out here and cry again. What’s the difference?”, refering to the cause of the delay being, Oksana. Nancy should have never behaved the way she did. And while her feelings of frustration were understandable, she came across as caddy,tacky, a poor loser, & many thought, mean spirited.

Oksana Baiul was a manipolative, poor skilled skater that take advantage of her personal sad story to rob the gold to Kerrigan, that was the best that night … Oksana should have been embaraced by her own lack of self control …
Not only Lenka Kulovana made a triple toe-loop duble toe-loop combination but the top-pick inthe triple toe-loop was so sloppy that she was very out of balance douring the lending. Sorry that in US was not televised, but in Italy it was and even if I agree about the elegance you shouldent consider that performance a solid one.
