I made a point to watch every swimming competition because I knew he was only going to be in one event and I wanted to cheer for him. But it seems he did not participate after all–and what’s worse is that after all the publicity given to him before the Olympics, there hasn’t been a word about him since!
Does anyone know what happened since he left for China?
they showed his prelim race, I watched it!
I saw him on the Today Show with his dad on Thursday. He swam a personal best but didn’t make it into any finals. He is to go back to the States and have surgery and then treatment. His name is Eric Shanteau
