An Education  is being screened as part of Screen Deva – a film and digital media festival for Chester!
ABOUT SCREEN DEVA
We're pleased to present the return of Chester’s very own film and digital media festival. Drawing on the success of the previous 2 years, Screen Deva 2010 takes place over Whitsun half term offering a bigger and more diverse programme than ever before.
Â
In a landscape without a professional arts venue or cinema, we pride ourselves on showcasing work in interesting venues throughout the city centre. This year we have adopted the St Mary’s Centre as the festival ‘hub’: staging digital media exhibitions, activities and films everyday throughout the festival.
The 10 day festival offers an engaging programme of newly commissioned artists’ work, independent films released in the last 12 months, special events, classic cinema, the return of the region’s original 48 Hour Film Challenge and an extended programme of FREE digital media workshops.
There’s something for everyone – so enjoy!
