Measure it. A queen is 60 X 80. A full is 52 X 75. And comforters are sold full/queen in many places, so it might not matter! Sheets, yes–especially a fitted one!
You could try to find the tag on your mattress (it’s stitched on) that should tell you. However, if it doesn’t, then you can measure it with a tape measure. Here are the dimensions:
Queen: 60″ x 80″
Full : 54″ x 75″
There are also bedding made which accommodates both sizes. It should come large enough for both. I’d still prefer a queen because it’s only a little bigger and I like more blanket. However, you can save a little cash with the Full size comforter. Hope this helps.
