I need to make my own costume so how do I make a Queen of Hearts one? What should I add? Please be reasonable.

You could get a large box from a moving or storage facility and assemble it, cut holes for your head and arms (leave the bottom open) and paint it to look like a card. Or you could cover the back of it with red wrapping paper and cover the front with white wrapping paper. Cut out a “Q” and hearts in red and stick them on the front and cut out swirls and attach them to the back to make it look like a playing card. Get a deck of playing cards for reference.
I wonder if you could have the Queen of Hearts card copied and enlarged at a kinkos and then just glue that to your box?
Ok I don’t know if you sew or not . but if you do use a costume pattern with a full skirt (long if traditional and short if you want to be a modern QOH) It should be made in red and white with lace and ruffles on it. Sew or glue red hearts around the skirt. or if the skirt is red white or pink hearts. put smaller hearts on the top of the costume. Make a crown out of poster board or fun foam to fit your head that fits around your forehead. you can cover it in glitter using either red or whit or pink or a combination of any or all of the colors. Glue more hearts all over the crown. for a scepter take a dowel and glue a sparkly ribbon on it spiraling it from one end to the other. Cut out two more hearts from whatever you used to make the crown. Glue the covered dowel up about 2/3 from the bottom of one of the hearts. when dry match up the edges of the other heart and glue it to the first heart sandwiching the dowel between the two hearts. Hope this helps
