12.07.1986, London (Wembley Stadium), England. Probably the most famous Queen concert, they deliver an overall amazing show, playing their classic songs and they got a rowdy crowd on top of it all! The setlist was quite special (Queen played ‘Gimme Some Lovin’ or ‘Big Spender’ only scarcely) and there were even rumours about David Bowie’s appearance for ‘Under Pressure’ but that unfortunately didn’t happen. Brian May said of the concert, “The Wembley concerts in 1986 were the pinnacle for us. We were at our height band-wise, and Freddie had developed this phenomenal way of dealing with stadium audiences. Being back home in London playing two sell-out nights was such a big, big occasion for us. @ TheRogueMonk Well, I think not. It took Roger and Brian 5 years for the death of Freddie (I read that in an interview) and John probably do not always have it yet. For me it was always seemed they were all very close friends.

Sometimes when I close my eye fixed, I can not imagine not there and all my concerns / worries disappear sewing in the air. And life seems worth living and acceptable, I may survive to see another day. Time and place where the hope and optimism is still alive, where a dream means something and can still be made real, and the world at my feet. Freddie, thank you for saving my life.
