The Kansas City Royals have confirmed that baseball commissioner Bud Selig will be in town next Wednesday, perhaps to formally award the 2012 All-Star Game to Kansas City.

Sources have confirmed to FOX 4 that the site of the MLB All-Star game in 2012 will be in Kansas City. Toby Cook with the Royals confirmed that MLB commissioner Bud Selig will be in Kansas City on June 16 for a “major announcement” at Kauffman Stadium before the Royals vs. Astros game that night.
