You should see what they did to Sochi when they won the games. . . it was always a resort town but an affordable one. But they started evicting residents from their homes so brand new summer mansions for Moscow fat-cats could be built using misappropriated govt funds meant for the venues. It used to be a nice place but now it’s going to be plastic like Dubai with as many human rights & environmental abuses (not just historically).
