@Veslanjejezivot that aint gonna win you races. if anything if its not smooth power your just going to dig the bow
@matt1746 They leg press about 450 kg 15 repetitions. I’m pretty sure that Rob can press even more. . .
Does anyone have any idea what these guys can leg press/squat?

For everyone here that say Rob Waddell rows terrible just listen to what Dan Topolski is saying at 6:15 Rob Waddell is the be(a)st.
rob waddell the best
the juri jaanson is the great¡¡¡ sculling this 42 years old winning olympic medals simply fantastic¡¡¡
and tufte doesnt row terrible. There is no right way to row, what he does works for him so dont dis his techinique he had 2 olympic golds
according to the british Peter Reed has the largest ever but you never know with the british
rob will always distory mahe
waddell owned mahe a lot last year so it shows mahe is beatable. it sucks cause waddell won’t ever have a chance to race him again. . .
it sucks more for waddell having fibrillation in his heart during the trials than drysdale having his sudden illness in beijing.
He is probably just preaparing to rape him next year
I think he’s giving it a miss for now cause when he was challenged by Mahe for a spot on the team representing New Zealand for the world champs here in 2010 he pulled out. . And im not a ranting person so chillax
no doubt. one of the many reasons rowing is so great. you can be close to 40 years old and still compete at olympic levels.
You will see waddell in the future m8. . rising to the stars again.
west palm beach, FL
Where do you row hotty?
ya too bad Mahe got a stomach ache in the Olympics. shouldn’t of had that happy meal at McDonalds before the race lol. im just kiddn so dont go on a rant. ya he will be tough to beat for a while.
Rob Waddell was just the start, Now we have Mahe Drysdale whos beaten Rob tonnes! Go NZ we are going to own at rowing!
yeah if i shortened my stroke slide probably, but that wouldnt be very effective i dont think.
same here i can get to a 38 but then i become unset kinda
Rob Waddell is pretty damn fast eh?
surely you cant be serious.
damn i look good
on the stroke coach I average 30-31 spm. now i think i do better than that but oh well. im really astonished I cant seem to get much past a 34 when I really push it. even with my oars shortened and more inboard than usual.
