Multi-agency sweep of Plainfield nets 40 arrests
PLAINFIELD — It’s been a bad week for criminals in the Queen City. A coordinated three-day operation by about 65 law-enforcement officials from no fewer than eight jurisdictions was launched early Tuesday, generating approximately 40 arrests on more than 100 charges through midday Wednesday.
