Montage featuring 2008 Chinese Olympic gold medalists Jiang Yuyuan and Deng Linlin. I made this to show their journey of hard work and dedication that led them to the Olympics…they dreamed big dreams, worked hard every day for years and years, and never gave up. Enjoy! Footage from “Dream Weaver: Beijing 2008″ and CCTV Olympic coverage. Music is “The Power of the Dream” by Celine Dion.

@ IRunFastest It’s really great to hear. They have so much in their training and were resting on their shoulders, so I’m glad they have a chance to lead a normal life once per fight is over. :)

@ Gregorygutkin for each individual, but usually the first thing is to finish their studies. So this is what they choose to. . . many of them will become a coach or other sports-related career. Gymnastics teaches you many valuable lessons for life (the value of hard work, discipline, willpower, etc.) that these girls are usually very well prepared and they succeeded where life takes.

These children in gymnastics look easy! We all hope they exist for themselves. Gymnastics is a sport for life for those who truly enjoy it yet!

  23. xazngiirlx says:

I wonder how they, like all the studies and get a good education because the gym is only up to the 20 or so, and the Max is still very young, they need a job after I mean cmon they have no future exercises, if it is currently, and also what about these poor children who have not chosen to participate in the Olympics, what happens to them? all 13 years of intensive training is to get lost D:

  24. HeatherIbbetson says:
