I love Michael Phelps, no doubt, but Thorpe’s technique just seems so much smoother. Turns however, Phelps takes.
He know’s he doesn’t, he even said after his race the suit probably took of 2 to 4 seconds. Although I wanted Thorpes record to survive the suit sega, I think Biedermann is the most honest person and deserved the record more than anyone currently swimming.
Thorpe didn’t mind either, he even said it wasn’t all about the suit.
Thorpe is unbelievably graceful in and out of the water. Phelps might be the GOAT but I can never get tired of watching Thorpe’s technique
