@ Gwisemua-I have wondered this question recently too. How does Kate afford the expensive coats, suits, dresses and she is wearing lately? She paid? And 700 for a jacket? 500 for a suit. I doubt that “work” as an event planner earn that much money! If they are not going to the civil list, where will they get the money for all her dresses and shoes for her royal duties?
