CNN has announced that it will have 50 reporters, cameramen and crew on the ground in London to cover the royal wedding on April 29th.

Interestingly, that's roughly the same number of CNN people currently in Japan.

BBC America to Broadcast Royal Wedding Live
According to the Wall Street Journal, there will be 10 cameras alone surrounding Buckingham Palace. These cameras, of course, will be after the day's biggest moment: the kiss between the Prince and his new wife surrounded by the royal family on the balcony.

If you're old enough to remember Prince Charles and Diana's 1983 wedding, you'll no doubt remember they too shared a kiss on the same balcony.

- four weekly specials in April with London-based correspondent Richard Quest
- three episodes of Piers Morgan Tonight devoted to the wedding
- two Anderson Cooper 360 shows broadcast live from London the day before the wedding on April 28
- one follow-up special with Soledad O'Brien after the wedding

In other words, CNN is not messing around. They fully intend to be the go-to network for royal wedding coverage.
