Prince William and Kate Middleton have been greeted by thousands of well-wishers lining the streets of St Andrews as the couple returned to the town where they first met. The pair, who will marry at the end of April, were there to start the celebrations marking the 600th anniversary of the University of St Andrews. Prince William told the crowds it was a special moment for him and his future wife because it felt as if they had come home.
