Temperley's spokesman wouldn't comment on whether or not the designer was creating a gown for Kate or Pippa, but many are speculating that she is one of the dressmaker front-runners.

A fan of the ultrafeminine, drapey fashions, Kate attended a charity event last year with Prince William, wearing a black-and-white Temperley frock.

Plus, Queen Elizabeth II recently granted the designer an MBE (Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) for fashion.

"Our goal is to make the bride look beautiful not to chase or create trends," Temperley, whose bridal clients include celebrities like Milla Jovovich, told British Vogue in 2008. "This is the bride's day and a beautiful fantasy dress is what she should be wearing. Fantasy, beauty and timelessness are our trends."
