Prince Harry claims he won't have anything to drink until after his speech at the reception dinner, CBS News reports. Even though he's known as a bit of a party boy, the royal intends to take his role as Prince William's best man seriously, which apparently means staying somber -- at least through the afternoon.

From late-night drunken debauchery to inappropriate costume choices, Harry's shenanigans have been well documented in the U.K. media. But his lack of drinking might not make headlines.

The prince, who's third in line to the throne after his brother, recently completed an expedition to the North Pole and was promoted to captain in the Army Air Corps.

And while Harry might not be raising a glass, many British (and honorary countrymen) will be doing their part, imbibing before, during and after the ceremony.

Facebook group, "The Royal Wedding Drinking Game," offers up some Queen Mum-unapproved rules for enjoying the wedding of the century, such as "If the Queen is on the screen you must be drinking" and "If Elton John is spotted the last person to shout 'Candle in the Wind' must drink 5." But with a start time of 6 a.m. in the U.S., you might want to gather your friends for shots of espresso instead.
