“William and Kate, the Love Story” is a big budget movie dramatization of Prince William’s nine year romance with Kate Middleton.

Shot on location in California and the UK, the movie premieres on Lifetime Movies in the US on 18 April and will be released by Revolver on DVD in the UK on 25 April, just a week before the Royal Wedding.

It tells the story of how the friendship between Prince William, second in line to the throne of the British monarchy and future princess Kate Middleton, the stunning daughter of upper-middle-class commoners, blossomed into a romantic love affair, charming the world with their engagement and eagerly awaited Royal Wedding.

The movie features Nico Evers-Swindell as Prince William, Camilla Luddington as Kate Middleton, Ben Cross as Prince Charles, Serena Scott Thomas as Carole Middleton and Laura Waddell as Kate’s boss at fashion chain Jigsaw.

Executive Producer Frank Konigsber, a nine-time Emmy nominee, is known for his work on well- known titles such as the “Ben Hur” and “9 1/2 weeks”.
