Mayor releases Spokane budget plan
SPOKANE, Wash.—Spokane Mayor Mary Verner released her plan for the city’s 2012 budget. It includes a mix of revenue hikes and cuts to cove a $6.7 million shortfall.  The mayor’s plan would freeze the street fund at last year’s level.
