I just do not understand the whole title or royals over there. Why Cate was not made like a princess Dianna was?

Before the wedding, William was Prince William of Wales, Which was His only title. Catherine had no title at all. When a Woman Marries a Man, She Can Take His Name (and title if he HAS one). So, When Miss Jones Marries Mr.. Smith, she Becomes Mrs. Smith. When Jones Marries Miss Smith, Duke of Somewhere, she Becomes Duchess of Somewhere – by courtesy. So, Catherine is now Princess William of Wales, as a courtesy. But, as a wedding present, gift HM the Queen themself three titles: with the Dukedom of Cambridge being the Highest One. Also there was an Earldom, and a barony as well. But, you are quite right, Catherine had not made a princess. While this HAS happened before, it is unusual wine, and not common at all. She May Be Made a princess at some future point, but, for now, it is Duchess, Which is a lot better than plain old “Miss!”
