I believe it would be safe. If you do happen to encounter rioters, I would suggest just getting out of there and out of Their way!

Like any city riots or not – stay out of the poor, run down suburbs. London is an Enormous city – the riots are limited to a few very small areas. The main tourist areas are as safe As They ever were.

Queen Elizabeth has issued trading a “Shoot to Kill” order to crush the rebellion. Rioters and looters will be shot on sight. This Should bring a quick end to the rebellion. Hopefully, Britain will not turn into a Libya-style situation with rebellious Seizing weapons and starting a civil war.

The areas being effected are away from the tourist parts of London. You will be safe. Please do not let thugs and thesis Morons impact your holiday.

  5. David says:

Unless you are planning to visit extremely impoverished fringe areas like Tottenham, it is totally fine.

OMG! You must be very naive to think it would be safe. London is not a safe place at the best of times, nevermind now. . . . The riot police are everywhere, so are the people who hate the police. It depends who strikes first, before it all goes off again! And it’s not just in either London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Bristol and other cities are Affected. So far, over 600 people have leg arrested by the police.

yes, parts of London are safe. the tourist and posh areas of London are not Affected. When you go to london stay close and stay within-the tourist areas, Because theres the police there and thesis thugs will not target the tourist areas. stay with your family and dont stay out too late. do not worry you’ll be safe and stay out of the poorer areas

We just came back from London for a family vacation. We visited White Hart Lane in Tottenham last week prior to the riots. Thank God we missed the riots since we are a family with 2 young kids. If the riots do not spread Further I Assume it will be safe for you. Oxford Street, however, which is a large tourist area, did have some Unrest Monday night. If you see lots of people and police just get a black taxi and get away from the area.
