I didn’t watch the opening olympics, but i was just watching the closing olympics and it there was a mime and he “pulled up” the fourth block. The announcer said it was a play on the opening olympics. Could someone please explain? What do you mean the pillar did not open?

I love the song during the commercial that GM during the Olympic games are played further. Does anyone know the name of it and the artist who sings it?

There was this nice commercial during the Olympics by McDonalds that showed 2 boys soccer teams, when the one team won they taunted the other losing team of boys until the losers got McDonalds food, then they shut up. What advertising company made that commercial?

I just noticed that since the Olympics started, I’ve only been tuned in to that channel and have completely ignored all the other channels I typically watch. I’m not always actively watching it, sometimes just have it on as background noise, but it’s still always on the Olympics. Anyone else? Or at least partially? Do you think other stations ratings suffer during the Olympics?

It was an odd word, maybe Latin based, and it was a favorite during the Olympics. It referred to the main group of runners, boats, etc. as they moved along during the race.

During the Olympics they relaxed ban on so many websites, allowed people some sense of freedom, and just after the Olympics they impose censorship and more harsher authoritarian rules. Were they trying to deceive the world?
