Being very security conscious lately, Especially as the “Neighbour from Hell” has now Encouraging the local under 10s to climb into my bathroom window, I let him chat on for a while INSTEAD of giving the usual brush-off….

How can Increased security resulted in the airlines losing luggage 20.000 bags?

I’m confused. I travel Between Edinburgh and London once a week and the stringent baggage security Measures I have experienced recently are extremely tight. I am comfortable with the need to do so because i realize That this will (or should) result in a safer flight for everyone. But Surely more extreme forms of security Should resulted in less luggage being lost, not the massive 20,000 reported in the press?
